What do you need to rent a motorcycle?
- You must have a valid motorcycle endorsed driver’s license. In Europe most foreign endorsed driving licenses are widely accepted to rent a motorcycle, provided the license language uses the same alphabet as the English language.
- At most rental locations you must be over 21 years of age. This regulation is reflecting the provider’s insurance policy that goes with renting a large and powerful motorcycle.
- You must have a major credit card to hold a security deposit. The amount of the deposit will depend on the rental provider and it may be equal to the value of the motorcycle or at least the insurance deductible.
- We recommend at least two years and/or 5000 miles of riding experience on motorcycle equal to the size of the bike you are renting.
- A helmet is required to rent and ride a motorbike anywhere in Europe. We recommend bringing your own motorcycle helmet to be sure it fits you well. However most rental providers have helmets and a limited amount of gear to rent.
- Riding with safety gear is a recommendation you should take serious. It happens too often that a minor crash might lead to long lasting injuries because of the lack of wearing protective gear.
- We recommend to take out a trip cancelation or trip interruption travel insurance.
- For any travel into foreign countries you will need a passport which is valid for at least 6 month after your return.
- For riding the rental bike across several Europe countries you will need a specific insurance card provided by the rental station.

Do I need an International Driving Licence?
An International Driver’s Permit (IDP), sometimes referred to as an International Driving License (IDL), is not required for all countries. However, we recommend purchasing one, especially if you frequently rent a motorcycle abroad or want to travel to places with a different writing system, such as China, Japan or Arabic-speaking countries.
In some countries it is even illegal to drive a motorcycle without an international driver’s license, depending on where you are coming from.
In the US and Europe, foreign motorcycle endorsed driving licenses are widely accepted to rent a motorcycle, provided the license language uses the same alphabet as the English language.
If you are not sure whether you want to obtain the International Driver’s Permit or not, you may ask, “Does the person at the motorcycle rental counter can understand my license is motorcycle endorsed”? Or another question “If I get pulled over, will the police officer be able to understand the information on my motorcycle endorsed driver’s license?”.
If the answer is no, an International Driver’s Permit is highly recommended.
The International Driver’s Permit is a “translation” of your national driver’s license and only valid in conjunction with the original driver’s license.
You must be able to produce both whenever you drive.

Can I rent a motorcycle with a Debit Card?
Different motorcycle rental locations have different debit card policies.
In general, one can say that debit cards are not sufficient for a motorcycle rental.
You must qualify with a credit card, even if you ultimately pay the motorcycle rental with your debit card.
A deposit will be placed on hold on your valid credit card. This deposit will be released after you returned the undamaged motorcycle.
Debit cards issued under a VISA or MasterCard logo which draw funds directly from the cardholder’s account may be used to qualify for rental.
You are welcome to book your product through this website using a debit card accepted by PayPal.
How do I inquire about multiple bikes?
Do you need multiple different rental motorcycles, maybe one for you and one for your partner?
Are you looking for several motorcycles of the same model?
Want to handle your upcoming world travels and book multiple bikes at locations with different currencies?
Multiple different bikes:
Feel free to add multiple bikes and products to your availability check by clicking the “GET QUOTE & BOOK” button. Each time you add a different bike of the same currency your request will be updated. This system is able to handle multiple different rental bike models with one quote request. Feel free to add your comments before submitting the request.
Several bikes of the same model:
However if you need several bikes of the same model at the same location you will need to let us know in the comments of the “GET QUOTE & BOOK” system. This system is not providing you the option to select the same product multiple times. We know this can be confusing but that does not mean we can’t arrange your rental with multiple of the same motorcycle models at the same location. We just have to confirm availability with the supplier before we promise you anything.
Several bikes at multiple locations with different currencies:
If you need several bikes at multiple locations with different currencies you will need to submit one bike at the time, sending only one bike on one request through the “GET QUOTE & BOOK” system. Please understand this system can not add multiple currencies to the same invoice and since we don’t change the suppliers rates we can not send you an invoice in a different currency as offered by the supplier.
Looking for a group deal?
Group rental request of 3 or more motorcycles at the same location and same rental dates might qualify for discounts.
Please select one of the groups prefered motorcycle at the location of your choice and submit your desired travel dates through the “GET QUOTE & BOOK” system.
This will allow you to add your comments and questions. Write us how many motorcycles you will need and what models each rider prefers.
Usually within 48 hours you will receive an email with your personal group motorcycle rental offer.
How do I inquire for a Group Reservation?
If you and your friends are looking for a group reservation, please select one product at the location of your choice and submit your desired travel dates through the “GET QUOTE & BOOK” system. This will allow you to add your comments and questions. Write us how many bikes you need and what models each rider prefers.
Usually within 48 hours you will receive an email with your personal group offer, subject to availability.
We recommend to only check the availability when you are ready to book.
Once availability has been confirmed by email, your offer will be valid for a limited time, usually 2 days.
Once your offer has expired, you will need to check for availability again by following the procedure through the “GET QUOTE & BOOK” section.
I have a complaint, who should I speak to?
For any specific complain about the service booked you will need to contact the supplier listed on your invoice.
Please note that ADMO is not in charge of the independent supplier who is providing your service.
We want to know immediately when you are unhappy about your experience with one of the suppliers.
Please contact us by replying to your invoice email right away and we will make our best efforts to address your concern.
How to change the date or destination?
Any change request after invoicing might result in a cancelation.
Please note that ADMO is not in charge of the bike scheduling and we do not manage cancellations, nor do we control the fees set by the supplier. ADMO has no authority to waive cancelation fees.
Date change:
You will have to contact your rental bike supplier or tour operator for further details on changing your travel date.
Destination change:
Bookings may not be exchanged from one rental supplier to another.
If you need to change your destination you will need to obtain a written cancellation (email) with the supplier listed on your invoice and submit a new “Get Quote and Book” request for your new destination through the ADMO platform.
Cancelation:
In order to cancel your reservation you will need to contact the supplier listed on your invoice.
This product is already in Quote Request list
This message means that you already have selected this product and it is waiting in the Quote Request list. Just browse the list and – if you want to ask for availability and final price – send the inquiry by filling in the quote request form.
“Get Quote” button does not work
You click the “Get Quote & Book” button and received the following messages: “Error occurred while adding product to request a quote list”.
This means you must have selected products from multiple different currencies.
The system only allows requests and bookings of products of the same currency.
For example: You select a motorcycle rental in the Australia (which is AU$) as well as one in New Zealand (which is NZ$), this will return in an error.
Solution:
– Remove the item with the different currency from the list.
– Submit only “Get Quote & Book” request for products of the same currency at one time.
– To request a quote for multiple locations with multiple currencies you will have to submit a separate request for each currency.
Clear Quote List
If you have added one or more product(s) to the quote list but are no longer interested in one ore all, go to the left sidebar – where it says “YOUR QUOTE LIST” and click on the “x” to delete the specific product(s).

How do I book a motorcycle rental, tour or training?
Send us your booking request by following the “GET QUOTE & BOOK” section of your desired product. We will confirm availability and update your quote. You may accept to book the requested motorcycle rental, tour or training by accepting an offer, sent to you via email. All offers, quotes, and availability announcements come from real people and are fact at the time presented. Your offer will only be valid for a limited time. If you do not proceed to accept it within the given time it becomes invalid and you will have to inquire again.
BOOK YOUR RIDE
A) Accept the Offer within the given time.
Once you submitted a request through the “Get Quote & Book” section of this website, you will receive an updated quote with actual availability via email. Typically you will receive this quote within 24 hours, sometimes it might take a bit longer since we have global time differences, holidays and other times when suppliers are unavailable.
Your personal quote will be only valid for a limited time in which you may accept the quote.
Make sure to monitor this expiration date of the pending offer.
Once the offer is expired you will need to start over with requesting availability through the “Get Quote & Book” section.
You can also see the status of your request at any time in your user area if you opted to create a user login.
Use your password to login and navigate to the Dashboard under your account.
Pending requests are waiting to be booked through you by clicking the Accept button after you have viewed the offer.
– New and unanswered requests will show as Status “new”
– Confirmed requests will show as Status “pending”
B) Make the payment for the reservation for your motorcycle rental and other services by PayPal or credit card.
C) Access your confirmation and rental voucher via email and/or online.
D) Sign an agreement with the local supplier
E) Pay a prepayment to the local supplier
F) Pay the balance upfront, at pickup or when contacted by the local supplier
G) Enjoy your motorcycle ride.
ADMO does not handle the scheduling of pickup times nor the customer service associated with your ride. This means that ADMO does not have control of prices and availability, nor do we handle changes or cancellations. See the Help Center to find out how to handle your changes after payment received.
How do I check Availability?
By using the “Get Quote & Book” section this website allows you to submit requests for current availability on your prefered motorcycle rental and related services.
All requests are answered by real people.
You are not required to sign or pay anything before you receive a confirmation on the accurate price and current availability.
After you received an confirmation by Email you will have a limited amount of days to accept or reject the offer.
Once your offer has expired, you will need to check for availability again by following the procedure through the “GET QUOTE & BOOK” section.

Navigate to the product you are interested in. Scroll the whole product page to see all information.

You will now have the option to submit your request for a confirmation of the availability and pricing before you commit to a booking.
Please fill the form with your name, email address and preferred pick-up / drop-off time.
You should avoid delays due to submitting complicated messages.
You must agree that we send your data to the third-party supplier before you click ‘Send Your Request’.
Your confirmation will be send by email with the option for you to accept the offer.
What happens if I click ‘Get Quote & Book’?
You may select a product and click “Get Quote & Book” to submit your request for availability.
In the product description section you need to select the date before you click “Get Quote & Book”.
You may select multiple offers of the same currency to confirm availability at once.
Your product selection will be submitted to the supplier. We will respond to your request via email with offers which you may accept or reject.

A) Motorcycle Rentals
Select your preferred travel dates and get an instant online pre-quote, showing your pricing next to the description.

Select all the options you would like to add to the rental rate.
Once the online pre-quote meets your expectation simply proceed to check availability by clicking “Get Quote & Book”. Make sure to enter your pick-up and return time before clicking the “Get Quote & Book” button. On the next page you can view your estimate and you will have a field to add some questions which are submitted to a real person.
We recommend to only submit your availability request at a time when you are ready to book soon.
B) Motorcycle Tours and related products
Select your preferred travel date. You may find posted tour dates by scrolling through the calendar.
Simply advance the month with the next arrow and click the start day of a tour or other product.
Select the bike and all the options you would like. Additional selected options might influence the product rate.
For info about what is included and an itinerary see the tabs INCLUDED, REQUIREMENTS and ITINERARY below the product picture.
If this online pre-quote meets your expectation please proceed to click “Get Quote & Book”.
After you received an confirmation by Email you will have 2 days to accept or reject the offer.
Once your offer has expired, you will need to check for availability again by following the procedure through the “GET QUOTE & BOOK” section.
How is the payment procedure?
As soon as you have accepted the suppliers quote, you will be forwarded to submit your reservation deposit payment.
You reservation will only be valid and processed after receiving the amount requested on the checkout.
Shortly after submitting your initial reservation deposit payment you might be contacted from the supplier.
The Supplier might collect further deposit and renter information at the time of reservation.
In some cases the Supplier will collect full payment several weeks prior to the date of service.
Where can I leave a review?

Can I cancel my reservation?
In the event that you must cancel your booking unexpectedly you can do so according to the terms and conditions of the supplier.
Please note that ADMO does not manage cancellations, nor do we control the fees set by the supplier.
For further details and to request a cancelation please contact the supplier listed on your invoice.
You will need to obtain a written cancellation confirmation (email) from the supplier.
We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance covering trip cancellation as we cannot deviate from the cancellation policy of ADMO or the supplier. Is the posted pricing accurate?
Posted pricing are the rates known to ADMO at the time of the last update and might not represent the actual rate at the time of your booking. We should say all prices posted on this website are considered estimates only. Such an estimate is a well educated guess at what your rental or tour may cost. But keep in mind, only after you have received the availability confirmation via email the rate will be expected to be binding.
Navigate to the product you want to check for availability, select your prefered travel dates and click “GET QUOTE & BOOK“.
Fill the requested fields and add your comments before you click “SEND YOUR REQUEST“.
We recommend to only check the availability and request a final quote when you are ready to book.
After submitting your request in the ‘Get Quote and Book’ section, the selected supplier will be contacted.
Only the supplier will confirm its current prices and availability of your requested motorcycle rental, tour or related products, or presents current alternative offers.
You will receive the suppliers accurate offer by email.
If the product is not available the supplier’s quote usually includes a similar alternate option.
All quotes and availability are confirmed by a real person. Please allow a bit time to receive your offer.

How can I update my account details?

Follow these steps to update your details:
- Sign in to my-account.
- Select ‘Edit Address’ or ‘Edit Account’ on the navigation bar at the left of the page.
- Select ‘Edit’.
- Modify your personal details.
- Select ‘Save Changes’ or ‘Save Address’ to save.
Minimum participants?
For some tours a minimum amount of paricipants is required (please not that this is a local tour operator requirement!). At the time of booking you may not know if the minimum participant quantity is reached. Usually the tour operator will let you know in advance if there is a participants issue with the tour. You usually have the possibility to decide if you still want to go on tour and pay an extra or if you want to cancel.
Can I book for another person?
If planning a motorcycle tour for yourself is exciting, imagine the thrill when you prep a tour for your group of friends.
You are welcome to place a group booking for motorcycle rentals, tours, and training and pay the balance at once.
If you prefer the individuals of your group to pay for each service themselves you will need to have them book individually.
And there’s no better way of getting people to visit than offering to pay their ride – just saying.
Regardless of whether you’re paying for people to visit you, ride with you, or to present the gift of a motorcycle tour, you will need to submit personal info about each rider and all rider need to sign a rental agreement latest at time of pick-up.
You might select different products and add them to one inquiry with the “GET QUOTE & BOOK” function.
However, this website does not allow you to select multiple of the same product at the same supplier even if this is possible.

A) Map Search
Click the ADMO logo or select Search By MAP to see a worldwide map with location flags.
Above the map is an optional Filter by Country selection, if applied it will only show you the location flags of the country you are looking for.
Click the Flag to see the Suppliers Name and a link to click for More Details.
B) Navigation
Hover your pointer over the product category tab Rent Motorcycle, Join Tour or Get Training and select from the options.
To find your motorcycle rentals in a specific location click the continent or country you are looking for.
You will see a map of your desired area with the location Flags to select. Click the Flag to see the Suppliers Name and a link to click for More Details.
Below the country map is also a list of all products listed in your selected area.
C) Search By Filter
Hover your pointer over the Search By tab and select from the options.
The Filter option Tours will bring you to a list of all tours listed on this website.
The Filter option Rentals will bring you a selection of continents to navigate by location. It will also offer further search options in the left side banner so select your preferred filters.
If, for example, you set the filter on Filter by Brand BMW and Filter Seat Height <799 you will see all worldwide listed BMW rental motorcycles with a seat height below 800 millimeters (31.5 Inch), etc.
SELECT THE PREFERRED SERVICE
Once you narrowed the list of services to the offers you prefer you can select the product.
You may also click below each product rating and brand the Product by Supplier Name. This will list all products offered by your selected supplier.
Select the product you are most interested in by clicking the product name or the “GET QUOTE & BOOK” button of the product.

Can I pay with my credit card abroad?
Avoid being rejected on pickup due to a blocked credit card!
If you are not qualified for the motorcycle rental at pick-up your reservation will be canceled and you will be charged a cancelation fee according to the supplier’s policy.
Tell your credit card provider when you are going on this trip and which countries you will visit.
If you don’t tell them, your bank may block your card when you’re abroad, as foreign transactions often get flagged as suspected fraud.
Bring a backup credit card with you in case you have some issues.
Make sure you understand your card’s international fees and restrictions.
Some credit cards even offer travel insurance and other benefits.
You may want to shop around to get the best card for your trip in time.
When is the best time to rent a motorcycle?
Always. Certainly it depends where you wanna go. Europe in winter is not a good time to rent a motorcycle. Some rental stations have even closed.
About motorcycle rentals?
Although the handling of motorcycle rentals is similar to the procedures common to car rentals, there are profound differences.
